Sign-up: Art Check-In

More details:

• Through the years, we have refined the art drop-off process. This year, we are experimenting with online registration and should have a decent start to the printed check-in list provided to the team! 
• Set up four stations to accept artwork so the team can divide and conquer. 
• • For three check-in stations: divide the check-in list provided by the membership chair into thirds by last name. You'll need pens, scissors and tape on each table to record check-ins, cut registration forms, and tape forms to artwork.
  • For the sign-up station: arrange the sign-up sheets provided by the membership chair so members can see remaining opportunities. You'll need pens to record their sign-up choice(s).
• For the check-in tables: 
• • Confirm they are on the check-in list and their art is no larger than 36" on either side including the frame. 
  • There is no fee this year, so we don't have to collect payment.
    
  • If they registered online, pull their registration from the stack and have them sign the check-in list. If they didn't register online, get their completed registration form and sign the check-in list. 
  • If they haven't volunteered (noted on check-in list), encourage them to visit the sign-up table. 
• For the sign-up table: 
• • Ask the member to review opportunities and sign up for something.
• After art is checked in: 
• • Cut the registration form in two. 
  • Tape one half to the bottom of the artwork so the writing shows when hung, then lean against the gallery wall. 
  • Place the second half TBD. 
• At the end of the second Art Check-In shift:
• • Take a photo of the sign-up sheets and email to Chris Cravens at waccmembershipchair@gmail.com so she can update the website.
  • Place check-in lists in the WACC closet (end of hallway by kitchen) so they can be used for art pick-up at the end of the show.
